MOMS 360
A Nurturing Circle for Mothers and Babies
You had a baby in the last 6 months. Congratulations!
Whether your days are filled with oxytocin highs or baby blues, you’re probably:
- checkWorried that every time you leave the house your baby will start screaming. Because let’s face it, some days it’s easier to just stay home than to try to quell her cries from the driver’s seat or the super market.
- checkDesperate to find a quiet place to get some sleep–just for one night–without waking and wondering if the baby is OK. And it would be great to get a shower sometime this week, too!
- checkFeeling the ache of isolation when friends and relatives are no longer bringing food or stopping by to hold the baby.
- checkPulling your hair out wondering why, after you’ve just fed, changed, and swaddled your baby, he’s still unhappy.
In this group you’ll find:
- Friendship with other new moms so you know you’re not alone when you look over and someone else has spit up on her shirt.
- A place where, not only crying babies (and mommies!) are welcome, but you’ll also find out how to manage your little one’s tears so you’re not so worried and exhausted from his crying.
- Proven techniques to help your baby’s developing brain grow because recent brain research shows that an infant’s environment has a dramatic affect on brain development, resulting in how well he thinks and learns—even into adulthood.
- A place where you can get your questions answered, without being bombarded with unsolicited advice, so you can relax and be more present and pleased with your little one.
Whether motherhood makes you radiate light or lock yourself in the bathroom and cry, this six-week group is a safe and supportive space to share the highs and lows of parenting. The group also includes a Q&A session with one of the doctors at Primary Pediatrics and the chance to have informal get-togethers with other moms once a week. This group is for mothers of babies, 0-6 months.
